Term 4 Immersion Assembly

Today my school had an immersion assembly, not an emergency assembly an immersion assembly. An immersion assembly for my school is an assembly that we have at the beginning of every term and at that assembly we get told our topic for this term, our topic this term is Make it work. At our immersion assemblies each team does a presentation. There are 5 teams that have 1 or 2 year groups in them.

The first presentation was brought to us by the team 1 teachers. The team 1 teachers made a movie called Max meets his match. This movie is about a dog called Max and an animal problem solving organisation called Sofa. Sofa has to find out how they can stop Max from annoying their neighbours. They found out about Max because they were sending pamphlets in the mail and Max’s owner called them. They thought of things like fences and leashes but they knew that wouldn’t work because Max is a small dog and because he lived very close to their neighbours. After a few minutes they had a tea break talking about how they like that their building is enclosed so that people couldn’t get in, but then they realised that’s was Max needed a place that’s enclosed but big enough to play in and so they sent Max’s owner a package with a dog enclosure and than Max never annoyed their neighbours again.

Second up was team 2s presentation, for their presentation they also did a movie. In their movie they were bored in their bays and thought of ways they could upgrade them. To do this they became superheroes. The first superhero was Mrs Teleso who became a blue hulk. To make their bay better she smashed the ground and out came a picture of a castle. The next hero was Mrs Wilson, Mrs wilson became spider-man and to upgrade their bays she used her webs to make a base. The 3rd hero was Mrs Carter. Mrs Carter became a mix between Wonder-Woman and Supergirl. To make their bays better she used her whip and out came a castle. Now I don’t have enough space to tell you about the rest but I will tell you later.
