Maths Riddles

  1. Kia ora Cayden,

It’s Simon here from the Summer Learning Journey team. Great work on completing another Summer Learning Journey task. Keep up the great work!

The maths riddles were tricky and you’ve done so well. The last two questions were quite hard and I had to think long and hard when I first saw them. A tonne of bricks will weigh the same as a tonne of feathers, so neither of them are heavier than the other. If you turned your device upside down you would see that the car is parked in between 86 and 88, so the car is parked in 87! Haha. It’s very clever, but you have given all these questions a great shot and the accompanying video is awesome! I really enjoyed seeing you test your dad with these questions – it’s such a cool touch to your blog post.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your blog posts. There are some really fun activities you would like. The Hundertwasser art task is something I think you will enjoy, judging by your fantastic one-line drawing. I can’t wait to see what you post next.

    Ngā mihi,
    Simon (SLJ)

  2. Kia ora Simon, thanks for the compliments. These riddles were so hard I had to ask my mum to help! Did you know you can flip your screen by clicking ctrl+shift and the refresh button on your keyboard.
