The Manaiakalani Film Festival is a festival where every school in the Manaiakalani school cluster makes some movies to play in the theatre. This spreadsheet is here so we know what we need done. Today I read a book called Oakley Creek. This book is about a girl who lies to her mum and tells her that she is going to help out at school but she was really going to the creek with her friends. I hope you enjoy.

Today My writing task was to use five senses touch, smell, sound, sight, and taste. I had to use them to write a story based on a picture. The picture I chose was a drawing of candy-land. I hope you like my story.

Today I did a design task. This was fun because I got to use photo pea to add images showing my cultures behind a photo of me. I hope you like this.

Today I read a book called Mata I Pusi. This book is about a girl who gets bullied for having cat eyes and being a mixed palangi and Samoan. I kind of relate to this because I am mixed the same way. I hope you enjoy.

Today I did group talk with my reading group. This was fun because we haven’t done this in a while.
